(Kitchen) Bought to transfer the sewing pattern from the pattern paper onto the cloth. Very disappointed when it didn't do the job even after using tracing wheel multiple times over the pattern. (Kitchen) This tracing paper is made with wax, and it works better on thin fabrics laid on a relatively hard surface. It does not work well on soft and elastic fabrics such as felt (believe me, I tried the felt, and with two different types of tracing wheels!). In my first real sewing class I was taught that wax tracing paper should never be used on real fabric, only chalk or an air soluble marker. |
