Bought to transfer the sewing pattern from the pattern paper onto the cloth. Very disappointed when it didn't do the job even after using tracing wheel multiple times over the pattern. Tried most of the different colored papers; only faint lines visible on cloth after using the blue colored paper to transfer the pattern.

This tracing paper is made with wax, and it works better on thin fabrics laid on a relatively hard surface. It does not work well on soft and elastic fabrics such as felt (believe me, I tried the felt, and with two different types of tracing wheels!). Another reviewer said that it is better used on muslin fabric, not the fabric of the final project, and after using it, I am rather inclined to agree.

This brand was recommended in a crafts class. It is much cleaner to use than ordinary dressmaker's paper.
I can't speak to how easy is to remove as I only use it on muslin. In my first real sewing class I was taught that wax tracing paper should never be used on real fabric, only chalk or an air soluble marker.

These magnets are small, but they're very strong. I bought them because of a dumb little project I saw online: Add a few of these quarter-inch diameter magnets into the barrel of a bic pen and you can stick the pen right to your refrigerator. Our grocery list has never been so up-to-date!

This product fulfills its claim of being very strong magnets. They are incredibly strong for such small magnets. The magnets are also very reasonably priced for the large number contained in the package. The one problem is that the magnets chip when they cling together or cling to a hard metal surface. This chipping does not occur all the time, however in the first hour of use, three magnets were chipped. This is understandable because the package clearly states that the magnets are not toys, however it would be nice if the magnets were a bit sturdier. If you intend to use these magnets for more serious matters, then I'm sure they will work perfectly. If you intend to use them for entertainment they will likely be short lived fun.

My magnets just arrived a few days ago and yet I'm already considering ordering more. Now that I have them here and have seen how strong they are (two of them can hold a calendar up on my fridge which in November is really saying something) I keep thinking of new uses. I'm taking 2 to work tomorrow, no more nametag pin holes in my clothes! Although I initially wanted only a dozen of these for an art project, I'm now planning on ordering more, they're almost too useful!

It appears from the reviews that you either love this little gizmo, or you hate it. I'm afraid I come down on the latter side of the issue.
It should be such a useful little item, and I wish I could recommend it, but I honestly can't. I don't have much patience, but I am known for my creativity, and I exhausted both trying to get this product to work as advertised.
Thinking that my problem was the thread I was using and that the elasticity of nylon might be causing issues with the tension, I tried cotton thread with little more success. At least the nylon thread was easy enough to cut off the bobbin; cotton thread was a pain. I was going to try silk, but I decided even I wasn't that masochistic.

What a disappointment!! My Pfaff bobbins will not go over the shaft on the Sidewinder. I understand the same problem exists for Viking machines. Our local quilt shop isn't reordering. And I am returning mine.
